Party Favors For New Year's

Party Favors For New Year's

It's always a treat to leave a party or celebration with a goodie bag. Whether you incorporate the items in the celebration itself or let the guest use their own discretion, these party favors are sure to brighten your New Year's Eve or Day!

Decorations To Bring The Party Home

Prologue the inevitable end of a celebration by sending home handfuls of balloons, folded paper garlands, confetti poppers, and festive banners. Extra points if the decorations can stay up the whole of winter (snowflakes, stars, monochrome colors, no text). While goodies with heavily branded New Year's theme may be fun for the party, they don't typically stay out of the trash long afterwards.

Everything Handmade

On a budget? No problem. Homemade gifts are some of the best! Creating hand-cut paper snowflakes, hot cocoa bombs, or mini photo collages (if you know your guests well) can be excellent party favors.

White Elephant

This tradition isn't just for Christmas! Make your New Year's gift-giving interactive with a round of White Elephant. Ask guests to bring a odd or unwanted gift, wrapped and ready to trade. Pile all the gifts and take turns picking one from the pile. Once the pile is gone, allow a few extra rounds for 'stealing' and 'trading' gifts. Let your guests open their gifts and get a few good laughs.

Photo Booth

Last, but not least, set up a photo booth with an instant-print or disposable camera. Guests get to leave with photos to remember the night by, or receive those memories via mail.

However you decide to celebrate the new year (or if you don't) we wish you a happy 2025!
